Job summary

Hypersolid is seeking a proactive Junior Financial Controller to join our Finance Team. You will support the full financial control cycle, working across borders from day one with the Netherlands, US, and Poland.

You will build hands-on expertise in month-end close, reporting, budgeting, and invoicing while collaborating with operations and project management. Professional growth within a dynamic, cross-country team is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in audit, controlling, or another finance function.
• Knowledge of Dutch GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with operations and other parts of the business.
• Curious, analytical mindset: eager to learn, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Fluent in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close process, including preparation and processing of journal entries.
• Contribute to financial reporting, translating financial data into clear insights for the Finance Team and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets and project financials, and collaborate with operations and project management on variances, time-writing, and invoicing-related questions.
• Handle client and intercompany invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including intercompany positions.
• Process and monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Provide documentation and analysis to support external audits.
• Maintain accurate financial records within Exact Globe and Scansys.
• Support process improvement and automation initiatives within the Finance Team.
