Job summary

Solid Professionals is seeking a Junior Business Analyst Finance to join a development programme. You will work on improving financial processes, data and IT interfaces within banking and insurance environments, starting with a 36-hour week and a gross monthly salary of €3,266.

During the contract-to-hire phase, you gain guidance from a performance manager and participate in the Impact Programme to grow professionally, with hybrid work and travel allowances for office days.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a finance-related field or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience through internships or entry roles.
• Affinity with financial processes, regulation and data-driven decisions.
• Strong analytical and structured thinking; good stakeholder communication.
• Experience with financial services and familiarity with SQL/Power BI is a plus.
• Based in the Netherlands and available full-time.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and improve financial processes and underlying data flows.
• Gather and structure information from stakeholders in Finance, Risk, IT and Legal.
• Translate business questions into requirements, user stories or functional design.
• Contribute to projects on regulation, transparency and data quality.
• Support impact analyses for new or changing regulations.
• Assist with testing, acceptance and implementation within Agile teams.
