Job summary

Rotterdam Engineering BV is seeking a Junior Engineer to join our energy and infrastructure projects in Rotterdam. You will independently perform diverse calculations and analyses, including strength, hydraulic, geotechnical assessments and route studies for underground pipelines.

You will collaborate with (Lead) Engineers, drafters, and project managers, handling smaller projects solo and contributing in multidisciplinary teams on larger ones.

Qualifications

• You hold a technical HBO or WO degree (Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering, etc.).
• Flexible and curious in approach.
• Able to maintain an overview across projects.
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Relevant work experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform strength, hydraulic, and geotechnical calculations.
• Develop route studies for underground pipeline routes.
• Collaborate with (Lead) Engineers, drafters, and project managers.
• Provide high-quality technical input crucial to project success.
