Job summary

TGS International Group is seeking an experienced Data Centre Engineer to support a major DC project in Amsterdam. This hands-on, client-facing role offers paid overtime and opportunities for progression. Travel across Europe is optional and fully covered for travel and accommodation.

The role involves cabling, rack-and-stack, hardware installation, and active liaison with the client on site for project updates and professional representation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' data centre experience; cabling-biased preferred.
• Strong skills in structured cabling: terminating, rack and stack, cable pulling.
• Solid hardware installation and fault resolution experience.
• Excellent communication in English; client-facing role.

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Data Centre Engineer to support a major client's DC project in Amsterdam. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role with ongoing training, paid overtime, and real opportunities to progress. Optional travel across Europe — with all travel and accommodation covered.

What You'll Be Doing

• Installing and terminating structured cabling (copper and fibre) to a high standard
• Rack and stack of servers, switches, and network hardware
• Cable pulling, dressing, and containment
• Hardware installation, decommissioning, and fault resolution
• Liaising directly with the client on site — providing updates and representing the team professionally

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years' data centre experience, ideally cabling-biased
• Strong skills across structured cabling: terminating, rack and stack, cable pulling
• Solid hardware experience
• Excellent communication skills — this is a client‑facing role requiring professional, fluent English
• Comfortable with physical work, including lifting heavy equipment
• Able to work a continental shift pattern
