Job summary

TGS International Group is seeking an experienced Data Centre Engineer to support a major DC project in Amsterdam. This hands-on, client-facing role offers paid overtime and opportunities for progression. Travel across Europe is optional and fully covered for travel and accommodation.

The role involves cabling, rack-and-stack, hardware installation, and active liaison with the client on site for project updates and professional representation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' data centre experience; cabling-biased preferred.
• Strong skills in structured cabling: terminating, rack and stack, cable pulling.
• Solid hardware installation and fault resolution experience.
• Excellent communication in English; client-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Install and terminate structured cabling (copper and fibre) to a high standard.
• Rack and stack servers, switches, and network hardware.
• Perform cable pulling, dressing, and containment.
• Handle hardware installation, decommissioning and fault resolution.
• Liaise with on-site client, provide updates and represent the team professionally.
