Job summary

Milliman in Amsterdam is seeking a Data & AI Consultant to help financial institutions modernize their analytical landscape by designing scalable data solutions, cloud-based apps, and AI-enabled workflows. You will migrate Excel models to cloud platforms, build data pipelines, and enable AI and analytics, collaborating with consultants, actuaries, and clients to deliver production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative or technical field.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Solid understanding of databases, SQL, data modelling, and data structures.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Affinitiy with software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and CI/CD.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain modern data solutions for insurance and financial services.
• Migrate models and workflows to Azure cloud platforms.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and data architectures.
• Support AI and ML deployments within client environments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate business needs into tech solutions.
• Contribute to software development, automation, testing, and deployment.
