Job summary

NEM Energy Group in Zoeterwoude is seeking a Junior Bid Manager to learn our end-to-end bid management process and support the Sales team in preparing HRSG and T-SCR proposals. You will help negotiate contracts in the worldwide marketplace and ensure the best design and lowest costs are put forward.

You will work with the Sales Manager to guide proposal teams, assess RFQs, maintain the proposal roadmap, and hand over to project execution with a solid technical contract and execution budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Process Engineering or Energy related subjects (required).
• Min of 2-year experience working as an Engineer or similar Technical Sales in an international B2B environment is a plus.
• Fluent in English (required).

• Assessing the customer’s requests/RFQ
• Maintaining the proposal roadmap
• Performing the proposal engineering (equipment, noise, emissions, etc)
• Guiding the assigned proposal team members (performance, layout, E&I, etc)
• Ensuring feasibility of the offered solution
• Compiling the technical proposal and its cost calculation
• Negotiating scope and requirements with customer
• Handing over to project execution (technical contract and execution budget)

As a Junior Bid Manager, you will learn to work in our end-to-end Bid Management process. You will develop your skills to prepare HRSG and T-SCR proposals to support our Sales process and negotiate contracts in the worldwide marketplace. Together with the Sales Manager, as Junior Bid Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the best design, most fitting technical proposal and lowest possible costs are put forward.
