Job summary

NEM Energy is seeking a Bid Manager to prepare HRSG and T-SCR proposals and negotiate contracts in the worldwide marketplace. You will work closely with the Sales Manager to ensure the best technical design, pricing, and execution strategy while guiding the proposal team through complex bid workstreams.

The role emphasizes international B2B collaboration, feasibility assessment, and delivering competitive, compliant proposals with a strong focus on cost control and value creation.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience working as an engineer in an international B2B environment.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Assessing RFQ/requests and shaping the proposal approach.
• Maintain the proposal roadmap and schedule.
• Perform proposal engineering covering equipment, noise, emissions, etc.
• Guide the proposal team on performance, layout, E&I tasks.
• Ensure feasibility of the offered solution and cost calculations.
• Negotiate scope and requirements with the customer and hand over to execution.

In close cooperation with the assigned Sales Manager, as Bid Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the best design, most fitting technical proposal and lowest possible costs are put forward.

Key tasks & responsibilities

• Assessing the customer’s requests/RFQ
• Maintaining the proposal roadmap
• Performing the proposal engineering (equipment, noise, emissions, etc)
• Guiding the assigned proposal team members (performance, layout, E&I, etc)
• Ensuring feasibility of the offered solution
• Compiling the technical proposal and its cost calculation
• Negotiating scope and requirements with customer
• Handing over to project execution (technical contract and execution budget)

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Process Engineering or Energy related subjects
• 4–5-year experience working as an Engineer or any similar work-experience, in an international B2B environment
• Fluent in English
