Our mission is to change the world of personal care and protect the environment for children. We create mild, safe products without mineral oils, microplastics, or SLES. We were the first brand to introduce plastic‑free wet wipes in the Netherlands and actively campaign against microplastics.

We have everything you need for your baby—diaper cream, plastic‑free wipes, shampoo, and sunscreen. Sensitive baby skin doesn’t need a lot, and definitely no bad stuff.

Your role

You’ll be stepping into a crucial role covering maternity leave and becoming the backbone of our financial operations. In this role you’ll work closely with Jolien, our CFO, and the two of you run the finance department.

Your mission? To keep every cent accounted for, our books spotless, and the team financially supported. What will you do?

• Own our daily finances, from managing B2B invoices and flawless bookkeeping to proactively chasing overdue payments.
• Handle month‑end and year‑end closings, prep balance sheet and income statements, and team up with our external accountant for the annual audit.
• Help build annual budgets and own our spend control policy, tracking variances and staying on course.
• Manage all tax filings (VAT, ICP, OSS) to remain compliant and on time, keeping audit‑ready records.
• Keep a pulse of our cash, ensuring we always have what we need for payroll and critical expenses while spotting key trends.
• Improve a process? We want to hear it! Fine‑tune finance workflows, document procedures, and implement smart controls. Be the official gatekeeper of price lists.
• Support our CFO by helping create financial projections and forecasts when needed.
• Serve as the helpful face of finance for the whole team, answering questions about payments and expenses, and be the main contact for external accountants.

What will you bring?

• A solid background as a Financial Controller or experienced Accountant, comfortable with the A‑Z of finance.
• Attention to detail & integrity; spot missing items, trust with sensitive data.
• Deep technical know‑how in month‑end closings, P&L/Balance Sheet prep, and tax filings.
• Insight to understand what numbers really tell us and how they impact the business.
• Focus on quality and proactive drive to make things efficient, accurate, and streamlined.
• Excel wizard, extra points if you know XERO.
• Ready to join us from March 1st 2026 for a temporary period until end of August 2026 (maternity leave coverage).
