Verisure in Amsterdam seeks a Junior Business Controller to support FP&A, analyze business performance and turn financial data into meaningful insights. You will work with the Manager Business Control and other controllers to deliver accurate reporting and forecasting.

You will perform regular financial analyses, track KPIs, assist with monthly closings, and provide actionable insights to Marketing, Planning and Sales. The role offers a 40-hour week, hybrid work, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Economics, Accounting or a related field
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in Finance, Business Control, Accounting or a similar role
• Good understanding of accounting, reporting and business analysis
• Strong analytical skills and enjoy working with data, KPIs and financial results
• Accurate, structured and have a strong eye for detail
• Organized and able to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Proactive, committed and hands-on in your approach
• Strong communication skills and can explain financial information clearly to different audiences
• Advanced Excel skills and are comfortable working with data and financial models
• Experience with an ERP system is a plus; experience with Oracle is an advantage
• You are fluent in English; Dutch is a plus

Are you looking to develop your career in Finance while making a real impact on the growth of Verisure? For our Finance team in Amsterdam, we are looking for a Junior Business Controller who enjoys working with numbers, analyzing business performance and turning financial data into meaningful insights.

As part of our FP&A team, you will work closely with the Manager Business Control and fellow Business Controller. You will support different business units and the Management Team by providing financial analysis, insights and information to support business decisions.

Your Responsibilities

Financial & Business Analysis

• Perform regular and ad-hoc financial and business analyses
• Analyse the performance of different business units and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Translate financial results into clear and actionable insights
• Prepare financial analyses and forecasts to support business decisions
• Identify trends, developments and opportunities to improve business performance
• Support Business Units and the Management Team with financial insights and analysis

Finance & Reporting

• Support the monthly financial closing process
• Ensure financial information is accurate and delivered on time
• Support the preparation of financial reports
• Contribute to the accuracy and reliability of reported financial results

What You Bring
