We believe great ideas can come from anywhere, and often, they come from you. As an intern at JD.com, you’ll work on meaningful, hands‑on projects, learn from talented colleagues across our global network, and grow in a supportive, fast‑paced environment designed for development. With competitive compensation, great office locations, and a people‑first culture that champions continuous learning, you’ll have everything you need to thrive and kick‑start your career.
You’ll be joining the JD Young (JDY) Internship Program, designed to give early‑career talent hands‑on exposure to real projects, real responsibilities, and real growth. Over 3–6 months, you’ll work alongside experienced teams, build fundamental skills, and gain insights into how a global business operates. Join JD.com as a Finance Business Partner Intern with opportunity to convert to a JD Star Graduate Finance Business Partner. You'll work closely with the Head of Finance for Logistics EU, who’ll act as your mentor — while you also give real support back to them. You'll be a genuine cultural bridge, bringing awareness and managing relationships across teams, and you'll get hands‑on with real operations, not mundane tasks.
Provide functional support to the Finance Business Partner team — managing reporting, running small projects and collaborating with stakeholders across the Logistics business. Cross cultural working — Lead meetings and improve ways of working between Chinese and Non‑Chinese stakeholders. Analytics — Whilst this isn’t an analyst role we’ll be needing your help to managing reporting and stakeholder communication. Understanding data trends and turning them into insight is key for the running of the team.
No prior internship experience is needed, though a solid understanding of finance data and concepts is important. This role would be great for someone looking to work in a commercial or relationship based finance role. It might not be great for someone looking for a role in Banking, Investments or Consulting. If you can work full‑time in Rotterdam and join us from mid‑November, we’d love to hear from you.
