Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Java Software Engineer to join a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team delivering end-to-end software solutions. You will own long-term work packages from planning to quality, collaborating with system engineers and operations to continuously improve processes.

You’ll work with Java-based software in a modern environment, using Jenkins, Nexus, Maven/Gradle, Git, and CI/CD practices. The role offers hybrid work and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field
• At least 3+ years of experience as software engineer with Java
• Hands-on experience with engineering and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and SonarQube
• Experience working with Linux or Red Hat Enterprise Linux (6/7/8)
• Some experience with shell scripting
• Interest in containers (Docker, Podman)

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end software solutions with a multidisciplinary team
• Take ownership of long-term work packages including planning, architecture, development and quality
• Collaborate with system engineers and operations to improve workflows
