Job summary

Nedap in Groenlo is seeking a Java Backend Developer to help develop secure backend services, integrations, and REST APIs using Java and Jakarta EE. You’ll focus on reliability, maintainability and testability of the software you help build.

You will work in an Agile team, contribute to code quality, and have space for technical decisions. The role is 32–38 hours per week with hybrid working and a salary range of €4,000–€5,500 gross per month, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Solid Java and Jakarta EE experience.
• Experience building REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Backend development: develop and maintain backend services and integrations using Java and Jakarta EE.
• API development: build and maintain REST APIs and integrations.
• Code quality: follow coding standards and review peers.
• Testing: contribute to automated testing.
