Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Software Engineer (Java 21+) to design, build and operate backend microservices powering digital banking experiences. Expect ownership, collaboration with architects and product teams, and a focus on reliability and secure API design.

You will work on observability, scalability and production support while shaping better solutions with developers and stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of demonstrable experience with Java 21+ and Spring Boot.
• Experience designing secure microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tooling.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to challenge assumptions and influence technical decisions.
• Fluent in English and collaborate with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java 21+ microservices and scalable REST APIs for digital banking services.
• Improve reliability, observability and operational excellence through monitoring, logging, alerting and production support.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product owners and stakeholders to shape better solutions.
