As a jack‑up engineer, you are responsible for creating jack‑up models suitable for site‑specific assessment, hydrodynamic analysis and/or structural analysis. You will contribute to maintaining and expanding our software suite. You are responsible for the quality of our many deliverables and for maintaining current knowledge of the state‑of‑the‑art industry practices.
As our engineer, you will support our clients through engineering projects to plan offshore campaigns, engage other stakeholders, increase knowledge and, in general, elevate their jack‑up operations in the role of consultant. You will work most of the time at our office, with intermittent travel to client offices and offshore assets.
Our client is a fast‑growing jack‑up engineering company. They offer all jack‑up related engineering services and products, from design to on‑board support.
Our client's crew is well versed in all areas of expertise involved in jack‑up engineering, including hydrodynamic, structural, geotechnical and mechanical engineering. We aim to regularly send out each engineer to support jack‑up operations on‑board. All of our engineers are therefore generalists with hands‑on experience.
In addition to being a generalist, each engineer develops a specific, unique expertise or skill, linked to a specific engineering product or service. The subject expert, or “resident expert”, has full responsibility for this engineering product or service, both in terms of engineering and business development. Responsibilities could include marketing, sales, contributing to JIPs, writing for and presenting at conferences, project management and execution, and engaging the client at all levels. Entrepreneurship and personal growth are core values and are actively endorsed.
The pace of our client's growth is limited only by the speed of development of our engineers’ skillset.
