Job summary

ITProposal is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide onsite backfill support in Amsterdam. The role is onsite, flexible, and project-based, ideal for freelancers or technicians seeking supplemental income while working with international clients.

You will perform desktop/laptop support, Windows troubleshooting, Office 365 support, and basic network tasks. English communication is required, Dutch is a plus, and independence onsite is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of IT Support, Help Desk, or Desktop Support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, LAN).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite desktop and laptop support for end users.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Support Microsoft Office and Office 365 applications.
• Configure printers, scanners, and other peripheral devices.

• Handle basic network connectivity troubleshooting.
• Escalate complex technical issues when required.
• Document completed work accurately and professionally.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working in corporate IT environments.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and basic user administration.
