Job summary

Risguard in the Netherlands is seeking an IT Risk Manager with at least four years of experience in IT audits, risk management, or information security. You will lead complex audits, implement IT frameworks, and report to senior management while guiding projects to on-time delivery.

You will mentor teammates, manage stakeholders, and shape Risguard’s security posture. The role offers hybrid work, a competitive salary from €5,650 to €9,800 per month plus a potential annual bonus up to €20,000,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration or similar field.
• At least four years of work experience in IT audits, risk management or information security.
• Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM or RE are desirable.
• Extensive knowledge in IT security, risk management and compliance.
• Analytical, structured, and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

As an IT Risk Manager, you help clients gain control over IT risks. You conduct complex IT audits, implement IT frameworks, and report to the management of leading organizations. What exactly are you going to do?

• Independently or as part of a team, execute complex IT audits, risk analyses, and privacy and compliance projects.
• Analyze and manage vulnerabilities in IT systems and processes.
• Report clearly and understandably to management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with diverse clients and departments to sustainably improve compliance and security.
• Thinking along and contributing to the future vision of Risguard.
• Stakeholder management where you maintain a warm relationship with our clients
• Mentoring and coaching other team members.
• You know how to bring structure and take the lead within your own projects.

This is what you bring:

• A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a similar field.
• At least four years of work experience, for example as an IT Auditor, Security Officer, or Internal Auditor.

You possess relevant certifications/training, such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or RE.

• Extensive demonstrable knowledge and expertise in IT security, risk management, and compliance.
• Analytically strong, structured, and detail-oriented.
• Strong communication skills, enabling clear and convincing reporting.
