Job summary

Progressive is seeking a Site IT Specialist & Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver IT applications and infrastructure projects supporting site operations. You will act as a central liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and sponsors to ensure project success, system reliability, and continuous technology improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years' experience leading complex IT infrastructure, digital transformation, manufacturing, laboratory, or enterprise application projects.
• Demonstrated understanding of GxP, data integrity, CSV, or similar compliance frameworks in regulated environments.
• Experience planning and executing system/data migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT applications and infrastructure projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved.
• Manage project planning, resource coordination, risk mitigation, change control, and stakeholder communication.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into effective technology solutions.
• Coordinate deployment and support of infrastructure components, including networks, servers, endpoints, cloud services, and cybersecurity controls.
• Oversee implementation, upgrades, and integrations of business applications.
• Coordinate third-party vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Ensure project activities adhere to regulatory requirements, data integrity principles, cybersecurity standards, validation requirements, and governance processes.
• Support IT incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop project documentation, status reports, budgets, schedules, and technical specifications.
• Promote standardization and adoption of new technologies across the site.

The Site IT Specialist / Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering IT applications and infrastructure projects that support business operations and site objectives. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and project sponsors to ensure successful project execution, system reliability, and continuous improvement of the site's technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT applications and infrastructure projects, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are achieved.

• Partner with cross-functional teams including Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, OT, Supply Chain, Site Leadership, and Global IT to translate requirements into effective technology solutions
• Coordinate deployment and support of infrastructure components, including networks, servers, endpoints, cloud services, and cybersecurity controls.
• Oversee implementation, upgrades, and integrations of business applications.
• Coordinate third-party vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Ensure project activities adhere to applicable regulatory requirements, data integrity principles, cybersecurity standards, validation requirements, and corporate governance processes.
• Support IT incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years' experience leading complex IT infrastructure, digital transformation, manufacturing, laboratory, or enterprise application projects.
• Demonstrated understanding of GxP, data integrity, computer system validation (CSV), or similar compliance frameworks in regulated environments (manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or similar enterprise).
• Experience planning and executing system or data migrations, application or infrastructure upgrades, and general technology lifecycle management.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid approaches).
• Understanding networking, server technologies, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
• Demonstrated stakeholder management across multiple functions, regions, and organizational levels.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent or dependent projects with agility and efficiency.

PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Security+, or similar certifications are desirable.
