Job summary

Ubiquiti Inc. in the Netherlands seeks an experienced software professional to drive technical direction for complex products. You will collaborate with engineering to shape architecture, APIs, and scalable solutions, while aligning with product goals.

The role requires 4+ years in software development, strong ability to read and discuss code, and proven leadership in cross-functional teams. Fluency in English is essential, and the office in Eindhoven supports a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive technical product direction in collaboration with engineering, including architecture and design decisions.
• Define scalable, reliable, and maintainable solutions with engineers.
• Assign tasks, prioritise focus, allocate resources, and ensure high quality output.
• Prepare and organize necessary project documentation.
• Identify and address technical risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies early.
• Keep up with newest technologies and tools.
• Negotiating with stakeholders and other parties involved in the project.

• Ability to read, understand, and discuss code with engineering teams;
• Solid understanding of system architecture, APIs, and distributed systems;
• Experience working closely with engineers on technical design decisions;
• Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product requirements;
• Experience leading cross-functional teams with strong engineering involvement;
• Ability to challenge technical decisions and contribute to solution design;
• Experience driving end-to-end delivery of technically complex products;
