Job summary

UbiOps is a platform enabling AI workloads on any infrastructure, with a The Hague base and a fast-paced, ownership-driven team. You will join as a Software Engineer contributing to design, development, maintenance and support of the UbiOps platform.

You’ll work across Python, Go, Django, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL and Redis, in an environment that values initiative, teamwork and independent delivery. Remote/hybrid options allow flexible hours and location within the Netherlands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field; Master’s is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Proficient in developing with AI support, but we expect you to be knowledgeable on the fundamentals yourself.
• Ability to independently deliver clean, tested, and well-documented software.
• Curious, resourceful, and a quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to design, development, maintenance and support of the UbiOps platform.
• Work on the core platform with a young and enthusiastic team of experienced developers.
• Handle a diverse tech stack including Python, Go, Django, Kubernetes, Docker, PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Develop, test and support production-grade software.

You will join the development team at UbiOps as a Software Engineer, actively contributing to the design, development, maintenance and support of our UbiOps platform. You will be working on the core of UbiOps together with a young and enthusiastic team of experienced developers, where you can make an impact immediately.

Your profile

• Completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Proficient in developing with AI support, but we expect you to be knowledgable on the fundamentals yourself.
• The ability to independently deliver clean, tested, and well-documented software.
• Curious, resourceful, and a quick learner. You enjoy experimenting and do not give up easily.

Depending on your experience level, we expect you to have experience in or learn the following technologies quickly:

• Python (Go is a plus)
• Django, RESTful APIs, and microservice architecture
• SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and in-memory data stores (Redis)
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Cloud computing services and concepts (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Hands-on experience developing, testing, and supporting production-grade software
• Infrastructure-as-code technologies such as Ansible, Helm, and Terraform is a plus
