Hoogwegt, a global dairy ingredient provider, is seeking an experienced IT Operations & PMO Manager to act as the operational backbone for the Global IT Director. You will unite global IT governance, project standards, and reliable service delivery across international offices, embedding structure and discipline.

You will lead operational teams, oversee vendor performance, enforce SLA compliance, and drive Buk ITIL processes and PMO governance.

Competenze

• Significant senior IT operational leadership experience.
• Broad IT coverage across cloud/infrastructure, end-user services, and PMO structure.
• Knowledge of PMO governance and project methodologies (Agile/Prince2); ITIL 4 preferred.
• Strong operational ownership and structured management style.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Information Management or related field.
• Excellent English; Dutch is valued.
• Based in or near Arnhem, Netherlands.

You will be part of the Global IT team located at our modern, collaborative office in Arnhem, working within an international network that spans across multiple continents.

At the intersection of global operational stability, structured project governance, and strategic technology adoption is where your work begins. As our IT Operations & PMO Manager, you will serve as the primary operational backbone and right-hand partner to the Global IT Director. You will combine global operational oversight with PMO and portfolio governance, ensuring reliable IT service delivery across all international locations while embedding structure, project methodology, and operational discipline.

Why You?

You are an experienced, structured IT leader and generalist who balances broad technical oversight with strong PMO governance, effective vendor oversight, and practical change management. In this role, you will lead our operational teams, drive uniform project standards, and represent IT credibly to global leadership.

• Own global infrastructure, cloud platforms (Azure/M365), end-user services, dispatching, and service desk performance to ensure consistent service levels across all international offices.
• Establish and enforce uniform project governance, templates, business cases, and reporting standards across all IT projects without introducing unnecessary bureaucracy, while providing direct line management to Project Managers.
• Own daily ITIL processes—incident, change, and problem management to eliminate root causes and drive continuous operational improvement.
• Active oversight of external IT service providers and MSPs; enforce strict SLA compliance and service quality accountability.
• Oversee the secure deployment, operational boundary, and security guardrails for Microsoft AI tools (e.g., Copilot, API governance, Power Platform) in coordination with technical engineers.
• Represent IT credibly to global Managing Directors and business stakeholders as a trusted operational extension and proxy for the Global IT Director.

Requirements

• Significant Senior IT operational leadership experience.
• Broad generalist IT coverage spanning cloud/infrastructure, end‑user services, PMO structure, and ITIL frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of PMO governance and project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Prince2); ITIL 4 certification preferred.
• Strong operational ownership, practical problem‑solving skills, and a structured broad‑mandate management style.
• A University or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Information Management, or a related field.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; proficiency in Dutch is highly valued.
• You are based in (or within easy commuting distance of) Arnhem, Netherlands.
