Job summary

Qcast is seeking an IT Network Engineer to join our Support team in the Netherlands. You will act as the main contact for customers in both office and production environments, ensuring network operation and security and handling tickets within SLAs.

You will monitor networks, devices, and users, implement Cisco configurations, and continuously improve security based on latest insights. The role offers hybrid working and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with management and support of IT/OT networks, virtualization, and servers.
• Good knowledge of Cisco networks, products, and solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

IT Network Engineer

Responsibilities

As an IT Network Engineer, you will be a vital link in our Support team. You will serve as the point of contact for customers in both office and production environments, ensuring optimal network operation and security every day. You will monitor the operation, performance, and security of the networks, devices, and users, continuously improving security based on the latest insights and signals. This role is highly varied and relevant. You will primarily be based in Oosterhout, with the option to work from home occasionally.

• Network Management: Analyze and resolve network issues and work with Cisco product configurations (Catalyst Center, ACI, ISE, SD-WAN, Routing, Switching, and Wireless).
• IT Security and Compliance: Implement and monitor the security of our networks, systems, and applications.
• Customer Satisfaction: Diagnose, investigate, and improve networks and relevant documentation. Provide second- and third-line support for tickets within the agreed SLAs and ensure efficient handling of technical issues.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with management and support of IT/OT networks, virtualization, and servers.
