Job summary

Nebius Group in Amsterdam seeks a Legal Counsel to join our IP&IT Law team. You bring at least 3 years of post-graduate experience in a legal firm or tech company and a passion for IP and IT law.

You will review license and SaaS agreements, collaborate with local and commercial lawyers on IP terms, manage IP outsourcing agreements, provide legal analysis, and advise on open-source and trademark issues to support our strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Law degree from a top-tier university in the EU or the US.
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience with legal firms or technology companies.
• Exceptional contract drafting and legal writing skills, along with strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proven experience with IP-related transactions, including software development commissioning, technology licensing, and trademark issues.

Responsibilities

• Managing IP outsourcing agreements with designers, photographers, and software developers, ensuring compliance and protecting our interests.
• Providing legal analysis and advice on a wide range of IP-related issues, helping to navigate complex legal landscapes.
• Addressing open-source matters, from license analysis to compliance implementation, while advising our business and engineering teams on best practices.
• Tackling other IP-related challenges as they arise, contributing to our strategic goals.
