Job summary

Vector Synergy is seeking a skilled software developer for a full-time position based in The Hague, Netherlands. The role involves developing, operating, and maintaining NATO software applications, utilizing tools such as Jira and Jenkins within a SCRUM team environment.

Ideal candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and have over three years of software development experience, including proficiency in Angular and Spring frameworks. A NATO Secret security clearance is also required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in software development.
• 2+ years of experience in Front-end development using Angular.
• 2+ years of experience in Back-end development using Spring.

Responsibilities

• Develop, operate, and maintain NATO software applications.
• Work within a SCRUM team and use software development tools efficiently.
• Work from the office at least three days a week.

Skills

Front-end development proficiency with Angular

Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, and Typescript

Java experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a closely related engineering field and at least 3 years of relevant experience in software development;
• Proven experience and proficiency in Front-end development with at least 2 years of relevant experience in development using Angular framework, version 10 or later. Excellent knowledge of related technologies such HTML5, CSS and Typescript;
• Proven experience and proficiency in Back-end development with at least 2 years of relevant experience in development using Spring framework, version 5 or later. Excellent knowledge of related technologies such as Java 5 or later and Spring Boot;

Duties / Role

• Working on a full-time basis on the development, operation, and maintenance of NATO software applications. The work will be carried out using software development tools (e.g. IDE, Jira, Jenkins, and Maven) and within a team that will be using SCRUM as the working methodology;
• Working from the office at least three days per week (or more, depending on special occasions or if requested by the Project Manager / Product Owner).
