Job summary

ResMed is seeking an Inventory Specialist to support inventory control across EMEA warehouses, ensuring reconciliation between ERP and 3PL systems. You will drive corrective actions, help prevent stock issues, and coordinate transfers between European warehouses while monitoring aging and obsolete stock.

You will analyze trends, create reports and dashboards, and contribute to continuous improvement across the warehouse network. Fluency in English and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or similar technical discipline.
• 2+ years of experience managing inventory control within operations covering 3PL and in-house.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications and MRP/ERP systems; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the inventory reconciliation process between the ERP system and 3PL WMS is performed regularly.
• Investigate reconciliation differences with cross-functional teams to ensure timely corrective actions.
• Arrange stock transfers between warehouses.
• Monitor aging, expired and obsolete stock in EMEA Warehouses.
• Coordinate disposal process in EMEA Warehouses.
• Ensure cycle counts are performed in line with ResMed requirements.
• Analyze inventory trends and identify risks impacting accuracy and availability.
• Develop and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Support root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies and preventive actions.
• Coordinate inventory-related projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Support audits by providing inventory documentation and analysis.
• Participate in system enhancements, testing, and implementation of inventory processes.

Job description

We are looking for an Inventory Specialist to join our team in the Netherlands. Main Locations of this role will be in our warehouses in Venray and Roermond.

Let’s Talk About The Role

As the Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day coordination and control of inventory operations across EMEA warehouses. The role ensures that inventory records between ResMed ERP systems and 3PL warehouse systems are regularly reconciled, accurate, and properly investigated when differences occur. You will work closely with internal teams and 3PL partners to identify inventory discrepancies, drive corrective actions, and help prevent any impact on customers or patients. The position also supports stock transfers between European warehouses, monitoring of aging, expired and obsolete stock, disposal coordination, and cycle count activities in line with ResMed requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and clear communication to maintain inventory accuracy, support operational stability, and contribute to continuous improvement across the EMEA warehouse network.

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or similar technical discipline.
• 2+ years of experience managing inventory control within operations covering both 3PL and in-house operations.
• Proficient with Microsoft applications.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred

• Experience with Tableau, Power BI and other data analytics tools is a plus.
