Job summary

Vanderlande in Veghel is offering a 6‑month graduation internship starting February 2026. The project focuses on making control software more transparent for site engineers by exploring Model Based Design workflows and deployment of generated code across PLC platforms.

The role combines MATLAB/Simulink modeling with hands‑on testing on OT modules within the MBD team. You will work alongside engineers to validate findings on virtual environments and, if progress allows, on real equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level education required
• Practical experience with MATLAB/Simulink is required
• Familiarity with embedded controls, PLCs or industrial automation is desirable
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Analyze and map current Model Based Design workflow advantages and limitations
• Set up Simatic Target for Simulink in an existing testing environment
• Apply and test proposed technology on an existing MBD OT module
• Design and run comparative experiments to evaluate usability, debugging, and commissioning efficiency
• Document findings and present recommendations to MBD team and stakeholders
