The work

Are you fascinated by the impact that today's global supply chains have on every consumer and company in the world? During this Supply Chain internship, you will bring digital possibilities to transform our clients' operations into customer‑centric supply chains while writing your thesis.

Team

Supply Chain & Operations is part of the Strategy & Consulting practice. The team transforms the supply chains and operations of Fortune 500 companies in the Netherlands and around the world into future‑ready, resilient, autonomous, and circular networks. We work across all aspects of the supply chain – from planning and fulfillment to sourcing, procurement and manufacturing – helping clients solve complex challenges through strategy, process optimization, sustainable logistics and digital capabilities.

Daily tasks

As a Supply Chain Intern you will experience working as a consultant, learn about our projects, and see the impact we’re making for our clients. You will learn from colleagues, immerse in our culture and participate in company events.

Research

As a master’s thesis intern you will conduct research projects on cutting‑edge technologies in supply chain. Topics may include generative AI in planning, resiliency assessments, autonomous sourcing, near‑shoring impact, sustainable supply chains, or other relevant technologies. Topics will be co‑created with industry leaders and academic relevance. Input from your interests is welcomed.

Eligibility & mandatory qualifications

• You are currently a master’s student at a Dutch university for the full length of your internship, preferably in Supply Chain, Sourcing & Procurement, Transportation, Engineering, Logistics or Management/Business administration with strong interest in Supply Chain.
• You are proactive, driven, and eager to grow.
• Eager to learn about Accenture.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
• High grades (average > 7.5) during high school / bachelor / master.

Bonus points

• Additional curricular activities such as a board year or internship.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Process mining, Business Process Management, Planning, fulfillment or Operations/Manufacturing excellence.
• Relevant experience from previous part‑time jobs or internships.
