Job summary

Gisou is seeking a Product Development Intern to support the team from concept to launch, contributing to research, packaging, testing, and operations. You will prepare materials for internal and external meetings and help monitor market trends and competitor activity.

The role runs Mon 1 Feb 2027 through Wed 4 Aug 2027, is full-time and onsite at the Amsterdam office, with 5 days per week (4 on-site). The internship is compensated (€450 per month) and includes a remote day per week, Lunch, and

Responsibilities

• Help & support the product development team in all aspects of creation and launch (formula, packaging, testing, etc).
• Help & support on day-to-day operational tasks (meetings preparation, package reception, transmission & tracking, product boards/mockup creation, product orders management, etc).
• Examine, study & analyse qualitative and quantitative market research (trends, rankings, competitor products, and consumer preferences).
• Create & update Powerpoint, Excel and word decks for internal and external meetings.
• Track, evaluate & follow-up on all new competitive haircare and skincare products.
• Assist with evaluating product submissions (sample preparation, report analysis, follow-up, etc).
• Organise & conduct regular product testing and assessment along with PD.
• Coordinators & Managers to ensure product performance, quality, and safety.
• Collaborate & brainstorm with the PD team (and others if needed) to generate + share new product ideas based on market trends, customer feedback, and brand vision.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Product Development Intern, you will have the opportunity to support the team throughout the journey of bringing new products to life. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

REQUIREMENTS:

• Available to complete the Internship Programme from Mon 1st Feb 2027 - Wed 4th Aug 2027.

• You must be looking for a FULL-TIME & ONSITE internship for 6 months.

• You must have an Internship contract from your School / University and the internship must be integrated into your program of study.

• Available for 5 days per week, from which 4 days on-site in the Amsterdam office.

• Based in Amsterdam or within a reasonable commuting distance of the Amsterdam office.
