Internship: GREW Travel & Meetings & Events

Are you a motivated student with a passion for project management, change management, and business transformation? Join GREW, dsm-firmenich's Group Real Estate & Workplace organization, and become part of the Travel & Meetings & Events team. In this internship, you will support the continued development and implementation of the global M&E program. This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategy execution, stakeholder engagement, and change adoption while contributing to impactful initiatives in a dynamic and international environment.

What You'll Do

During your internship, you will support the implementation and adoption of the new global Meetings & Events (M&E) strategy and policy across the organization. You will contribute to change management activities, including stakeholder mapping, engagement, communications, and implementation planning. In addition, you will help translate the M&E strategy into practical guidance, tools, and processes, gather stakeholder feedback, and identify potential barriers to adoption. You will also support Travel & M&E improvement initiatives related to process improvement, benchmarking, digitalization, and data analysis, while working with stakeholders across functions, business units, and regions.

  • Supported the development and successful implementation of a global Meetings & Events approach, contributing to the adoption of new policies, processes, and ways of working across the organization.
  • Delivered practical recommendations, guidance materials, and change management tools that enabled effective implementation and adoption of the M&E program across regions and stakeholder groups.

  • Field of Study: International Business & Communication, Hotel Management, International Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook), comfortable working with digital tools and data, and good written and verbal communication skills in English. No prior work experience is required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills, analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, interest in project and change management, proactivity, and the ability to work independently in a global and cross-functional environment.
Eligibility criteria and conditions:
  • Language requirements: Fluent in English.
  • Final Selection Day: 01.12.2026 in dsm-firmenich office in Maastricht.
  • Start of the internship: 01.02.2027
  • Duration: 5 months.
  • Studies: currently enrolled at Maastricht University or Zuyd applied science university (hogeschool). Your university will cosign the internship agreement.
  • Location: dsm-firmenich Maastricht office.
  • Compensation: Internship salary is €550 per month.
