The Internship

Are you ready to gain new, exciting experiences in the corporate world? Are you passionate about developing people and unlocking their full potential? Are you interested in data and the insights that you can gather from it? Are you enjoying working together in a team while also enjoying autonomy and responsibility? Then you might be just the one for our internship position in the Global Leadership Development Team in HEINEKEN.

Job Description

As part of your internship, you will have the chance to engage in the following tasks:

  • Support the deployment of global leadership development programmes. You will gain insight into how these programmes are brought to life across different markets.
  • Support day-to-day learning tasks, such as enhancing training materials, managing participants' key information and communication materials, coordinating communications for leadership programmes (via email), and supporting key programme delivery activities.
  • Assessing leadership development program impact: This might involve critically analyzing data across multiple datasets, recognizing key insights based on the data, identifying areas for development and research and creating improvement strategies.
  • Support with the continuous reviewing and improvement of learning and development measurement approaches: This includes researching predictor variables of learning success and ROI, benchmarking other measurement approaches in the field and coming up with informed suggestions of how to improve our measurement strategy
  • Your creativity is valued and within the internship there is plenty of room for your ideas and input, which we value and welcome!

During your internship you will get the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company, also outside your department. We give you trust and freedom, so you can work like a real entrepreneur. We like to bring the outside world inside and therefore we embrace new, fresh ideas with enthusiasm. Of course, always with the guidance that is right for you.

What a day in the internship could look like

After grabbing a coffee and catching up with the team, you start your day by reviewing ongoing leadership development projects and checking on programme deployment activities across different markets. You might join a meeting with colleagues from around the world to discuss programme progress, stakeholder feedback, or upcoming learning initiatives.

Throughout the day, you'll work with data from leadership development programmes, helping to identify trends, analyse participant feedback, and translate insights into recommendations that enhance the learning experience. You may also support communications for global programmes, prepare materials for upcoming sessions, or collaborate with experts across Talent, Learning, Data, and Technology teams.

No two days are exactly the same. One day, you might be diving into data analysis, while the next, you could be helping coordinate a global programme launch or contributing fresh ideas to improve how we develop leaders at HEINEKEN. Throughout the internship, you'll have plenty of opportunities to learn, build your network, take ownership, and see how leadership development creates impact in a global organisation.

The Department

The internship takes place in the Global Talent and Leadership (GT&L) Department, which focuses on attracting, developing and bringing our talents and leaders to the next level. Within this diverse team people from various backgrounds, with various expertise, work together to ensure we reach our common goal: Unlocking the full potential of our People. Working in the GT&L Team will give you the opportunity to interact with experts from data and technology to learning experience, so that every day will bear something exciting and new! In your internship position, you will mainly focus on leadership development.
