Job summary

Arctic Blue BV, an Omega-3 specialist, is seeking a motivated intern passionate about nutrition, health, and sustainability. You’ll join a small, enthusiastic team at Dotslash Campus in Utrecht and tailor the role to your learning goals.

You’ll translate complex nutritional information into engaging blogs, support customers via chat, email, and phone, and contribute to product development and market research.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Nutrition and Health, Business and Consumer Sciences, Food Innovation, or related field.
• Enterprising and proactive; willing to take initiative on projects.
• Strong affinity for sustainability and a healthy lifestyle.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Available at least 4–5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Work with an enthusiastic team and contribute ideas to improve the company.

About Arctic Blue

Arctic Blue is the Omega-3 specialist. We make health products based on algae and fish oil from fillet trimmings, for which no fish is caught specifically.

Due to its innovative and sustainable nature, our brand is growing rapidly in the Netherlands and surrounding countries, and we do this with a close-knit and enthusiastic team of 7 people at Dotslash Campus in Utrecht.

Your role

Because we are a small and ambitious team, no two days are the same. You will be fully integrated into our team, but you will also certainly have the unique opportunity to tailor the role to your own learning goals. Curious about what your day might look like? What could you possibly do?

• Working alongside: You will work as part of an enthusiastic team that is open to your ideas to improve our company.
• Content, marketing & education : You translate complex nutritional information into understandable and inspiring blogs and content for our community.
• Support & Advice : You are an essential point of contact for our customers. You answer substantive questions via chat, email, and telephone. In doing so, you are truly at the front end of the company and support consumers where necessary.
• Product Development & Optimization : Do you have an affinity for the technical side, or would you like to develop this? You can support the product developer in developing new products or improving our current range.
• Consumer insights & research: For your own research, you can optionally delve into the psyche of our client. Why do they choose Arctic Blue How important is sustainability really to today's consumer? Where does future market demand lie? These are all examples of questions currently before us.

What are we looking for?

• You are pursuing a degree in Nutrition and Health, Business and Consumer Sciences, Food Innovation, Nutrition & Dietetics, or a similar field of study.
• You are enterprising; you see work that needs to be done and enjoy taking the initiative to take on projects.
• You have a strong affinity for sustainability and a healthy lifestyle.
• You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written. You are customer-oriented, open, and communicate easily.
• You are available at least 4 or 5 days a week.
