Arctic Blue BV in Utrecht is seeking an intern for Content Creation & Social Media to help manage the end-to-end production of social content, from concept to posting across all channels, in collaboration with ambassadors and the team.

You will brainstorm scripts, scout daily inspiration from social media, and assist on-set, ensuring high-quality content and timely delivery; interns receive a €750 monthly stipend, free Arctic Blue products, and team outings.

Internship: Content Creation & Social Media

Are you interested in nutrition, health, and sustainability? And would you enjoy working in a small team (7) at the Dotslash Campus in Utrecht? Do you know exactly what works and what doesn’t on social media, and do you always have your phone (or camera) handy? Would you also like to learn everything there is to know about the process of creating online content—from the initial idea to going live on all channels? Then this is the role for you!

Arctic Blue is the leading Omega-3 specialist; health products made from algae and fish oil derived from fillet trimmings, for which no fish are caught specifically for this purpose. Thanks to its innovative and sustainable nature, our brand is growing rapidly in the Netherlands and neighboring countries.

What are you going to do?

You’ll play a crucial role in our company: managing the entire production process for our social media content—from wild, creative ideas to concept, production, post-production, and publication across all channels—whether working independently or in collaboration with our ambassadors. Together, you’ll help bring the best and wildest ideas to life and ensure we create the highest-quality content.

Responsibilities

As an intern with us, you’ll be a full-fledged team member and will therefore be involved in all aspects of our day-to-day work. This means a varied range of tasks where every day is different, including the following areas.

Concept Development

• You'll brainstorm and help us write scripts and storylines for shoots. Those videos you see online—you played a big part in them!
• You'll scour social media every day for inspiration and keep us fully up to date on what works and what doesn't online.
• You’ll provide weekly social-proof ideas and cool angles for our content across our various channels.

Pre-production

• As a production manager, you arrange props and locations and ensure that everything is production-ready.
• You will also assist with preparing and briefing the people involved on set.

Production

• Is there a photo shoot or a day of filming at the office or on location? You'll be there!
• During productions, you're responsible for ensuring that the shoot goes smoothly, so our videographer and content manager can do their jobs to the best of their ability!
• For example, this means: handling the logistics and making sure all the necessary items are on hand.
• Your creativity is also essential on set. During shoots, you’ll create behind-the-scenes content with your phone, which you’ll turn into a short Reel the next day in no time.
• While the editor does their job, you’ll work with our content manager on the overall content plan.
• You ensure that all content from the editor is saved in the right place and learn from the edits and iterations made.
• Next, publish the content (Stories, Reels, substantive posts) and share it across all channels.
• You’re also welcome to start making TikTok videos on your own every week. If you want to pour all your creativity into this and get the whole team involved, that’s great!
