Job summary

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is offering an Internship in Food & Beverage at NH Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace. You will learn across the Food & Beverage departments, assist in guest service, and help prepare outlets and meeting rooms in a historic Amsterdam hotel.

You’ll work with kitchen, front office and other teams to enhance guest experiences, during training and subsequent hands-on duties, aiming for excellent service throughout every shift.

Your Day-to-Day at NH Collection

As a Food & Beverage Intern, you will learn to work all-round within the Food & Beverage department. You are (partly) responsible for providing a wonderful experience for every hotel guest. After a training period, you will work independently in one or more of our Food & Beverage departments. You will help in the service and keep close contact with our guests, and you will prepare the restaurants and/or meeting rooms for the arrival of guests. You will also maintain close contact with other departments, for example, with the kitchen, with stewarding, and with the front office. Furthermore, with your refreshing eye for detail, you are always looking for improvements.
