Job summary

SOUS in Amsterdam is seeking a passionate engineering/QA intern to support independent food & beverage entrepreneurs. You'll review code from AI agents, test PRs, and contribute to features while identifying bugs and performance issues.

The ideal candidate has experience with Python (Django), Postgres, and React (NextJS), along with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. The role offers mentorship and a fun team culture with hybrid working options.

To make this vision a reality, we are looking for a passionate engineering/QA intern.

What you’ll do

• Review code written by our AI agents.
• Test PR's to ensure they meet requirements.
• Contribute to features.
• Identify and troubleshoot bugs.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
• Support the other engineers in their day-to-day tasks.

What you bring

• Experience with Python (Django) and Postgres.
• Experience with React (NextJS).
• A positive energy and willingness to learn.
• Fluency in English.

Bonus points

• You’re comfortable with Claude Code/Cursor.
• Have experience in e-commerce, SaaS, or the food industry.
• You know how to test software (exploratory, automated).
