Job summary

Hunkemöller is offering a Best Internship in Retail in the Netherlands. You will manage webshop content via CMS, analyze customer journeys to boost conversion, and coordinate translations and design briefs while supporting day-to-day webshop operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

You'll join a structured internship with a buddy, trainings, and a clear path to hands-on experience in retail. The program includes WFH options, an allowance, and travel support as part of the package.

• You are enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of HBO/Bachelor's in a related field.
• You have strong interest in E-commerce, online marketing and digital retail.
• You enjoy data and turning customer behaviour into opportunities.
• You are organized and can manage multiple tasks.
• You are proactive and collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
• You have excellent English written and spoken.
• You are available for at least 32 hours per week (prefer 40).
• You want hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Job description

What will you do?

• Managing and updating webshop and app content through our Content Management System (CMS), including homepage banners, promotional content, landing pages, and campaign assets.
• Learn how to analyze customer journeys and webshop performance, and contribute ideas to improve conversion and user experience.
• Coordinating content-related tasks such as translations, design briefings, and stakeholder reviews.
• Supporting the E-commerce team with day-to-day webshop operations and special projects.

About you!

• You are currently enrolled in the third or fourth year of an HBO/Bachelor's degree, preferably in E-commerce, Digital Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field.
• You have a strong interest in E-commerce, online marketing, customer experience, and digital retail.
• You enjoy working with data and are eager to learn how customer behaviour translates into commercial opportunities.
• You are organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• You are proactive and enjoy collaborating with different teams and stakeholders.
• You have excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• You are available for an internship of at least 32 hours per week, preferably 40 hours.

• Travel Allowance: Max. 23€ per day (based on your travel distance), if you are not eligible for the free Student OV Chipcard.

Eligibility Criteria

For this internship, you need to be available for 5 months starting in February 2027. Please note that your application will only be considered if you are enrolled at a school or university for the full duration of the internship. Additionally, to comply with Dutch law, one of the following must apply:

• You are an EU citizen,
• You are on a Family/Partner visa, or
• You are a non‑EU student studying in the Netherlands, and you meet at least one of the following requirements: (1) The internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum, OR (2) your university is willing to sign a third‑party agreement (Nuffic Agreement).
