Boskalis is offering an internship for Civil Engineering students. You will support project execution, handle on-site operations with the superintendent, develop detailed planning, monitor progress, and report daily.

We require Netherlands-based students (Dutch residents), 18+, independent, proactive and fluent in English. A willingness to work abroad on a 6 weeks on / 4 weeks off rotation is essential; driving license is preferred.

Your responsibilities as Intern

As an intern you will be supporting the execution of the project of parts of the project, according to the contract. This can entail lots of different activities such as:

• Manage and follow-up on site operations with the superintendent for the project such as, mobilization, installation, or demobilization.
• Create and follow up on detailed planning, monitoring the work for efficient and effective execution, considering quality, cost, and budget.
• Daily progress reporting.
• Manage, instruct, and motivate Boskalis’ and subcontractors’ team and vessel crews.

Your Qualities And Experiences

You can make your mark as intern if:

• You are a student, following the study track Civil Engineering or equivalent, at least vocational (MBO) or higher.
• You are currently based in the Netherlands or a Dutch resident.
• You are independent, pro-active, precise, team player and flexible.
• You have good English language skills.
• You are willing to work abroad in a rotational schedule (6 weeks on project, 4 weeks off).
• You have the minimum age of 18 years and preferable in possession of a driving license.
