Job summary

Trinamics is seeking an International Site Supervisor to support and oversee the installation of electrical power distribution and automation systems on large-scale infrastructure and data center projects. The role involves Nordic projects and a 3 weeks on-site abroad, followed by 1 week at home.

At Trinamics, we are looking for an International Site Supervisor to support and oversee the installation of electrical power distribution and automation systems on large-scale infrastructure and data center projects.

Your projects will primarily be located in the Nordic countries, offering the opportunity to work with advanced technology, international teams, and complex electrical installations.

The working rotation is 3 weeks on‑site abroad, followed by 1 week at home.

What will you do?

As an International Site Supervisor, you will help ensure that on‑site installation activities are carried out safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and according to the required quality standards.

Depending on your experience, you will take responsibility for site supervision and coordination, with the opportunity to further develop your leadership and project management skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and coordinating installation activities for low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems, smart grids, and energy automation solutions.
• Coordinating installation teams, subcontractors, and other on‑site personnel.
• Ensuring compliance with project specifications, technical standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Monitoring project progress and helping ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality targets are met.
• Coordinating daily site operations and resolving technical or organizational challenges.
• Identifying potential risks, opportunities, and changes that may affect project execution.
• Maintaining accurate site documentation and ensuring administrative requirements are fulfilled.
• Communicating with project managers, customers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a technically minded, hands‑on professional who enjoys working with electrical systems and wants to develop further in an international project environment.

You do not need to have years of experience as a Site Supervisor. If you have a solid electrical engineering background and at least two years of relevant experience, we are also interested in hearing from you.

Your profile:

• An MBO, HBO, or equivalent technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, or a vocational electrical qualification combined with relevant practical experience.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, electrical installations, power distribution, or a similar technical field.
• Experience with site supervision, contractor coordination, or leading technical teams is an advantage, but not a strict requirement.
• A basic understanding of electrical systems, technical drawings, safety standards, and site procedures.
• Good communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
• A valid driving licence.
• An EU passport and the ability to travel internationally for project assignments.
• A proactive, practical, and solution-oriented mindset.
• The flexibility and willingness to work abroad for three consecutive weeks, followed by one week at home.

No, relocation to the Netherlands is not necessarily required.
