Job summary

Nooca in The Hague seeks an experienced Site Supervisor for international datacenter projects. You will oversee installation activities for low and medium voltage systems, coordinate contractors, and manage site operations across multiple countries.

The role requires a higher-education qualification in electrical engineering or significant experience, strong English, and openness to long-term international assignments. A valid EU passport and driving license are required.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent vocational qualification.
• Proven professional experience in electrical projects.
• Willingness to work abroad for extended periods.
• Intercultural experience is a plus.
• Business-fluent English; Dutch language abilities are a plus.
• Driver's license and EU passport.

• Oversees completion of site administration according to performance standards (on schedule, at requisite quality level, on-budget).
• Represents the site in all decision-making committees of the project (towards own management, customer and team).

• Assesses risks/opportunities at the construction site (economic, organizational or contractual risks, change requests).
• Monitors compliance to standards, regulations, laws, quality and EHS guidelines.
• Leads qualified employees in one functional team.

From the headquarters of our client in The Hague, theCenter of Competence Datacentersis responsible for the realization of multidisciplinary hyper scale data center projects on a global scale. The current department consists of 150 colleagues with full project teams consisting of project management, engineering, purchasing, QHSE, logistics, site management and commissioning. Our project area includes engineering, installation, testing and commissioning of energy distribution systems such as medium and low voltage switchgear, transformers, rail systems, protection relays, automation and monitoring systems and modular structures such as E-Houses and Skids. We are looking for an additional Site Supervisor international projects, who fits in our team within Smart Infrastructure. In this job as an Site Supervisor you have 7 colleagues. Furthermore, customers, engineers, subcontractors and project managers are your daily contacts.

In this role you will be dedicated working for our (inter)national datacenter projects.

What are the responsibilities as a Site Supervisor?

• Oversees completion of site administration according to performance standards agreed (on schedule, at requisite quality level, on-budget).
• Represents the site in all decision-making committees of the project (towards own management, customer and team).
• Coordinates contractors before and during execution of work.
• Assesses risks/opportunities at the construction site (e.g. economic, organizational or contractual risks, acceptance criteria, change request procedures).
• Monitors compliance to standards, regulations, laws, quality and EHS guidelines.
• Leads qualified employees in one functional team.
• A higher-education qualification in electrical engineering or a vocational education in electrical engineering with a lot of experience
• An convincing record of professional experience in this field
• Ideally you have already been able to gain some intercultural experience
• You like to work on projects abroad for a longer time
• Business-fluent language skills in English (Dutch language would be great!)
• Drivers licence and EU passport.
• Salary based on your experience in a range of EUR 4,000-5,500 plus a fixed bonus of EUR 1,200 for working abroad.
• A fixed Benefits Budget of 22,63%, which you receive in addition to your monthly gross salary. This budget is including 8% holiday allowance and a 13th month benefit. You can use the budget for more days of leave (e.g. for the holiday of your dreams), for an extra payment at a time of your choice or for tax-favorable expenses, such as a bicycle plan.
• Daily (Mercer) allowance to cover costs for living abroad, housing and rental car arranged by us.
