Job summary

HID Global is seeking a Project Engineer to organize and execute activities delivering validated IAI systems at customer sites worldwide. The role combines hands-on technical work with coordination of installation activities to meet customer specifications and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will install, test, and commission systems, travel internationally, and provide technical training while maintaining comprehensive documentation and test results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field.
• Experience with system assembly, testing, and commissioning.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install systems and modules per drawings and documentation.
• Analyze and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues during build and testing.
• Configure and optimize system processes (engraving, inkjet, vision, laminating, encoding, optics).
• Collect and analyze test data and validate system performance.
• Execute FAT and SAT at factory and customer sites.
• Install, align, and commission systems at customer sites internationally.
• Ensure systems meet quality standards and customer expectations.
• Provide technical training and documentation to customers.
