Job summary

HID Global is seeking a Project Engineer in Veldhoven, Netherlands to organize and execute deployment of validated IID systems at customer sites. The role combines hands-on system assembly with coordinating installation activities, including international travel and on-site work.

You will ensure quality, performance, and successful customer acceptance through rigorous testing and documentation. Responsibilities cover assembly, debugging across mechanical, electrical, and software domains,

Qualifications

• Technical background in mechanical, electrical, or mechatronics engineering.
• Experience with system assembly, testing, and commissioning.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install systems and modules based on drawings and documentation.
• Resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues during build and test phases.
• Configure and optimize system processes (engraving, inkjet, vision, laminating, encoding, optics).
• Collect and analyze test data and validate system performance.
• Execute and support FAT & SAT at factory and site level.
