Job summary

Intercel in the Netherlands is seeking an Operational Purchaser to advance your procurement career within an international trading environment. You will manage the full operational procurement process and ensure product availability for customers, collaborating with colleagues across Sales, Warehouse and Supply Chain.

This mid-level role offers opportunities to grow towards more tactical or strategic procurement, with offices in Haarlem or Ede and a full-time 5-day week, 35-40 hours.

Qualifications

• HBO/MBO+ level education focused on Nevi, Supply Chain or Purchasing.
• At least 2 years’ work experience in a procurement role within a commercial environment.
• Dutch and English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process and follow up purchase orders.
• Monitor supplier delivery times proactively.
• Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse and Supply Chain daily.
• Coordinate transport and international logistics.
• Maintain global supplier relationships.
• Identify process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Contribute to stock management and reliable deliveries.
