Job summary

Ireckonu is seeking an Internal IT Support to own and maintain the company’s internal IT environment, ensuring secure, reliable access to systems for employees in Amsterdam. You will handle identity and access management, endpoint administration, Microsoft 365, networking, servers and security, with room to grow into Technical Support tasks.

You’ll manage onboarding/offboarding, device deployment, backups and DR, while building strong cross-team relationships and documenting IT operations for

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure, or internal IT.
• Experience managing Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365, Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Good understanding of networking, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and endpoint management.
• Experience with identity and access management, security best practices, backups and disaster recovery.
• PowerShell or other scripting experience is a plus.
• You take ownership, communicate clearly, and enjoy solving technical challenges.
• You are organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• You create clear documentation and continuously look for ways to improve internal IT operations.

Responsibilities

• Own identity and access management across Entra ID and apps, including provisioning, permissions, SSO and CA.
• Onboard/offboard employees, manage devices, software deployment and Intune.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, file servers and certificates.
• Manage network infrastructure: switches, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs and office Wi‑Fi.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Azure, licensing and mail security.
• Plan and maintain backups, DR, hardware lifecycle, assets and vendor relations.
• Maintain endpoint security, baselines, access reviews and security incidents.
• Provide day-to-day IT support for employees and devices.
• Manage office IT infrastructure: meeting rooms, printers, inventory and customer hardware.
• Maintain docs and continuously improve internal IT services and processes.
• Over time, contribute to general Technical Support Engineer tasks and cross-team collaboration.
• Deepen SaaS product environment knowledge and potentially take more TS Engineer tasks in future.

Your mission

As an Internal IT Support at Ireckonu, you will own and maintain the company's internal IT environment, ensuring employees have secure, reliable access to the systems, devices, and infrastructure they need to work effectively. You will be responsible for identity and access management, endpoint administration, Microsoft 365, networking, servers, and security, while continuously improving our internal IT landscape. Your main scope will be an internal-facing role supporting Ireckonu employees and infrastructure, with a possibility to delve into Technical Support tasks as you grow in the role.

• Own identity and access management across Microsoft Entra ID and core business applications, including user provisioning, permissions, SSO, and Conditional Access.
• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding, devices, software deployment, and Microsoft Intune.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file servers, and certificates.
• Manage network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and office Wi-Fi.

• Manage office IT infrastructure, including meeting room technology, printers, inventory, and customer hardware environments.
• Maintain documentation and continuously improve internal IT services, security, and operational processes.
• Over time, you will have the chance to be more involved in general technical support engineer tasks as well; helping troubleshoot access issues, diagnosing environment-level problems, and sharing knowledge that bridges internal IT and platform operations.
• Deepen your understanding of a SaaS product environment and build strong cross-team relationships, with the possibility of taking more Technical Support Engineer tasks in the future.

Your profile

• 3–5 years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure, or internal IT.
