Job summary

Eaton in Hengelo, The Netherlands, is seeking an Internal Project Manager to coordinate and deliver customer projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will work with Planning, Engineering, Production, and Order Managers across multiple projects while ensuring safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

The role demands a technical background, ~3 years of relevant PM experience, and strong communication in an international matrix setup.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in project management, order management, engineering, manufacturing, or a related environment.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, and control customer orders and projects, monitoring progress, quality, and performance across multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Assume full responsibility for the successful start-up and execution of assigned orders and projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and in accordance with agreed schedules.
• Manage, monitor, and resolve quality-related issues to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with company standards and requirements.
• Discuss and negotiate deviations, non-conformities, and project-related issues with Country Service Units, and, where applicable, Country Sales Organizations, within the established authorization framework.
• Initiate, coordinate, and lead project kick-off meetings, progress reviews, and other project governance activities.
• Collaborate closely with Country Sales Organizations and Country Service Unit Order Managers to ensure effective communication and smooth project execution.
• Review and interpret technical documentation to support production activities and ensure compliance with customer specifications and contractual requirements.
• Serve as the primary interface between Planning, Engineering, Work Preparation, Production, and other internal stakeholders to coordinate project activities and drive execution.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively manage issues to support successful and on-time project delivery.

We are seeking an Internal Project Manager to be joining our team in Hengelo, The Netherlands.

The Internal Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that customer orders and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with required quality standards. Working closely with Planning, Work Preparation, Engineering, Production, and external Order/Contract Managers, the role coordinates all internal activities necessary for the successful execution of customer projects.

The position supports projects involving medium- and low-voltage electrical power distribution equipment, including modular standard systems and customer-specific solutions. Projects are transferred from the Sales organization and vary in scope, complexity, and duration.

Managing multiple projects simultaneously (typically 5–50), the Internal Project Manager oversees deliveries with lead times ranging from 12 weeks to one year and project values between €10,000 and €2.5 million. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the role plays a key part in ensuring successful project execution, operational excellence, and high levels of customer satisfaction across a range of product lines.

Key Responsibilities
