Job summary

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is seeking an experienced professional to strengthen its Internal Control Framework (ICF) within Corporate Control. You will work with Business Units and Transavia to improve ICF processes, risk identification, controls design, and ESG reporting across the organisation.

You will collaborate with Internal Control Coordinators, report to the Director of IFRS & Internal Control, and drive testing, assessments and follow-up on audit findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or university degree in Accounting, Business Economics or related field.
• Minimum three years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in auditing and audit techniques preferred.
• Knowledge of financial accounting, accounting principles and process design.
• Excellent command of Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Carry out ICF activities for KLM Business Units.
• Coordinate and monitor progress on ICF deliverables.
• Support Business Units as sparring partner on risks and controls.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of ELCs, TLCs and ITGCs through assessments, testing and reviews.
• Monitor follow-up of internal and external audit findings within KLM Business Units.
