Job summary

Adyen in Amsterdam is seeking an Internal Control Specialist focused on non-financial risks, with 4–7 years of experience in external audit, risk management or internal control. You will join the global Internal Control team and proactively strengthen our integrity framework to support controlled growth.

You’ll assess processes, test controls, collaborate with compliance and regulatory colleagues, and help manage audits (SOC1/SOC2).

Qualifications

• Experience in external audit, risk management or internal control.
• Knowledge of operational processes, risks and internal control frameworks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Critical thinking and proactive problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen and manage the global internal control framework with a focus on integrity risk.
• Evaluate operational processes, risks and controls to identify improvements and automation.
• Coordinate and perform testing of controls and report on effectiveness of risk and control systems.
• Manage audit requests and support SOC1/SOC2 audit cycles.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Regulatory teams to strengthen the control framework and contribute to projects.
