Internal Communications Intern

We are looking for a motivated intern to support internal communications and employee engagement activities at our Bergen op Zoom site. You will work closely with the Internal Communications Lead and contribute to communication outputs that keep employees informed, engaged, and connected across a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft and support internal communication content, including emails, intranet updates, and screen communication.
• Proofread and adapt content for clarity, tone, consistency, and accessibility in both Dutch and English.
• Support newsletters, campaign updates, and broader employee communication activities.
• Create or update simple visual materials such as posters, presentations, and screen content.
• Support internal communication channels, planning overviews, and communication follow‑up.
• Assist with the preparation and execution of internal events, townhalls, and related communication activities.
• Contribute to inclusion and engagement communication initiatives, including WIN‑related activities.

Key Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Media, or a related field.
• Strong interest in internal communications, employee engagement, and content creation.
• Excellent written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• Detail‑oriented with a strong eye for quality, clarity, and consistency.
• Structured, proactive, and comfortable managing a mix of communication and coordination tasks.
• Comfortable working in a site‑based and operational environment.
• Experience with PowerPoint, Canva, or similar tools is considered a plus.
