Job summary

Shin-Etsu PVC B.V. in Hilversum seeks an Internal Auditor (32 hours p.w.) to strengthen internal controls and compliance across the organization, reporting to the Corporate Internal Audit team in Japan.

You will perform JSox compliance audits, integrate financial audits with external auditors, draft findings, and provide guidance on internal control and applicable legislation. The role offers hybrid work from our Hilversum head office.

Qualifications

• An internationally recognized university degree.
• Preferably CPA, RA, and/or CIA.
• Proven experience in financial auditing and internal control.
• Experience at a Big 4 firm, a listed multinational, or within a Sox environment is a clear advantage.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills and a critical attitude are essential as well as unquestionable integrity and discretion.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Fluent in English: working knowledge of Dutch is preferred.
• Experience with Japanese culture (work or private) is considered as an advantage.

Internal Auditor (32 hours p.w.) - Hilversum

What are you going to do as a Internal Auditor

As an Internal Auditor you will work closely with the Senior Internal Auditor and contribute to strengthening our internal controls and compliance framework.

As Internal Auditor, you will be involved in a variety of audits and advisory projects across the organization. Your key tasks include:

• Conducting JSox compliance audits on behalf of our corporate headquarters in Japan
• Performing integrated financial audits in collaboration with external auditors
• Drafting findings and advisory reports
• Providing guidance on internal control, compliance, and local and international legislation

The Internal Audit department of Shin-Etsu PVC B.V. reports directly to the President and maintains a formal reporting line to the Corporate Internal Audit team in Japan. You will work closely with the Finance & Administration Manager based in Hilversum.

You will work from our head office in Hilversum, with the option to work partly from home.
