Job summary

OMRON Management Center Europe is offering an internship in the Internal Audit Department in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. The role emphasizes learning from experienced auditors and applying data analytics to financial and operational audits.

You will develop working papers, analyze data trends, and explore how new technologies like AI can enhance audits, while completing a 3 to 6 month program on a part/full-time basis and aligning with your educational commitments.

Qualifications

• You are pursuing an HBO/bachelor’s degree in business administration, Financial Control, accounting, auditing or similar.
• Data analytics skills are part of the curriculum.
• Affinity with data and analytics using analytical tools (e.g., ACL).
• Basic understanding of accounting and audit principles.

Responsibilities

• Support audit team with planning and execution of financial and operational audits.
• Develop organized working papers documenting testing and outcomes.
• Perform analytical review of operational and financial data for internal audits.
• Harness technology to explore data trends.
• Explore how new ideas/technology (e.g., AI) can improve audits.
