Job summary

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is seeking an Internal Audit Junior Data Analyst to join our Hoofddorp team. You will analyze large datasets, detect fraud patterns, and support audit processes with data-driven insights, dashboards, and alerts.

The role combines data analytics with internal audit and requires strong Excel, Power BI, and SQL skills, plus experience with Caseware IDEA and SAP R/3/HANA. Hybrid work and occasional travel are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data analytics, engineering, statistics, finance or accounting.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in data analytics within a business environment.
• Strong Excel skills and data modeling capabilities; experience with Power BI preferred.
• Familiarity with Caseware IDEA, SAP R/3 and HANA, and DBMS (SQL/MySQL/Oracle).

Responsibilities

• Audit process improvement: identify data requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
• Data analysis and reporting: analyze large datasets to identify fraud, trends and risks.
• Data visualization: create dashboards and reports for stakeholders and audit committee.
• Data extraction and processing: extract data from systems using Caseware IDEA and queries.
• Audit data analytics: develop models to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Data governance: ensure data quality and integrity across systems.
• Training and support: train audit team and hotel staff on data topics.
