Job summary

ESA's internship in the Secure Connectivity Payload Section at ESTEC, Noordwijk, Netherlands, offers hands-on experience in payload engineering and system performance analysis for next-generation satellite communications.

You will contribute to modeling, validation and performance assessment of secure connectivity payloads, while learning from experts in the field. English and French are working languages; knowledge of ESA languages is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be a university student, preferably in final or second-last year of Master’s studies.
• Knowledge of Satellite Communications and RF subsystems is an asset.
• Working languages are English and French; knowledge of another ESA language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support design, analysis and validation activities for secure connectivity payloads.
• Assist in system performance assessment and modelling for the payload chain.
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines to ensure coherent payload solutions.
